My creative time

Hi everyone I wanted to share the card I made for the DT challenge over at My Creative Time. Emma is hosting a design team challenge. So I figured why not give it a shot. I used the Give a Hoot cartridge. I cut the trees at 1 inch and my furry friend at 3 3/4 inches. I used a Jolee sticker for the nut. I used a dollar stamp from M's on the inside and a clear stamp from Autum Leaves for the outside, the paper is Recollections. The front stamp reads beauty is all around.
I had a great time making this card. It fits in a standard A2 envelope. I think I'll send this to one of my good college friends.
Thanks for stopping by.
Don't forget to leave a comment.

Thanks,

Melts like butter

Hi guys!!!
All week I have been wanting to make something savory. I got three sacks of flour the other week at a street food festival!

I was so excited. Since then I have made pancakes, empanadas, and now today:... Cheddar biscuts!!!
And I must say that they came out great. I made drop biscuts rather than cut them out I think it gives it more of a home made look. I got the recipe from All recipes dot com

2 cups flour
2 table spoons sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cut sharp cheddar cheese
3/4 cup butter milk
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1/2 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon salt

If you don't have butter milk you can you 3/4 cut milk and add 2 table spoons of vinigar and let sit for 5 mins to "sour"
Mixing directions :
Sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder together in a bowl. Cut in frozen butter, until it looks like small peas. Then mix in cheddar cheese until blended.
Slowly pour in milk and mix well. Batter will be wet.
Now you can roll it out on a floured surface or create drop biscuts by just spooning mixture onto cookie sheet.
Makes 6 biscuts.
Bake at 425 for 15-18 mins. Checking at around 13 mins.
ENJOY!!!
You can even add a little honey when done.

Thanks ~ Tiara

gone for a while

Hell All,

Sorry about being gone for so long. I have been on vacation and enjoying myself. But Now that that is coming to an end I need to get back to my crafting. I have been crafting while taking time to enjoy life.

To day I have a card that I used with my Cricut and a file i downloaded to SCAL2. My nephew was sick and so I wanted to make him a cute card from his fav show. He loved the card and I enjoyed making it. It is a standard A2 card. I cut the base at 5 1/2 X 4 1/4. I cut the edges to a curve. I used K and Company paper pack to use as the background, orange paper and SCAL 2 to weld the words together, and cricut Plantin School Book cart to cut the grass and flowers. I hope you enjoy.

Leave a comment and come by again,

Mothers Day Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome back!!

Day 2 of the Mother's day blog Hop!!!! I hope that everyone is enjoying the hop and all of the wonderful project that the ladies have created for you all to see.

This is the inside of the card. I used a simple flower and a Stampin' Up stamp that says Love

On the 0ut side I used my cricut and First years cart, a pop sticker of a butterfly ande a few silver stikers to add a little * bling*

For the second gift I made a devils food cupcake boquette for my mother. I used a vase purchased at a local dollar store. (Gotta love that place). some cake mix, and store bought frosting died with food coloring of your choice. I saw this made on youtube so I thought I would give it a try. On the inside I have a green flower foam black and cocktail straws to keep the cupcakes in place. I cut out the cupcake wrappers using my cupckae lite cart cut at 1 3/4 to 2 1/2 inches depending upon the font shape of the wrapper. I just hope that my mother doesn't take a look at my blog and see her other gift.

Mothers Day Blog Hop

Welcome!!!

I hope that you are having a great time with this mothers day blog hop! I created this project for my mother becaue she likes to be pamperd. With this project I only used my cricut once! Thats amazing for me because I love using that thing.

In the basket I found items on her fav body shea butter site.

The items I used are Cosmo Body butter, bath salts, and body cream with a hint of sparkle, also a bath pillow for those relaxing moments alone in the tub. The basket came from my local dollar store. The perfum is SJP from Macy's. Oh and the chocolate cone is a large hand towl to wrap her hair in that also came from the delicious skin website.

I hope you all enjoy!!

word album

Hello all,

So I have been trying to think of creative ways to make photo albums for friends and family members. I was on Facebook and I saw a word album. Well this sparked a great idea. I got the insperation from Deanna from http://www.deannascreations.blogspot.com/

she is so talented. this is what I have started with and I will post the final project when I finish. This is what I was able to make it one day.

To create this word book I used my SCAL to cut the letters and weld them together. I think that I will use paperdolls and mini monsters and maybe even a few sponge bob carts t0 finish it off. Stay tuned

Thanks again

Thank goodness

WOW

What a long day... I have been tryin to post to my blog for the longest. I had to go on sevral help sites to find the solution........

Any how.... many people wanted to know how I created the items for my home decore projects.
Well I wanted to paint the wall so it w0uld stand 0ut more but I have not chosen a color. I cut the vinyl at 2 inches and framed it around the switches. I think that I will try it again around the house in different colors for each room.

With the vase I took vinyl and a Martha Stewart punch and some etching cream and made a cute spring vase.

I have not mastered the etching but I think that I will keep on trying. Well the blog continues so next your off to Gills blog. Happy Hopping and Happy Easter to all. :)
