Finally...the Home Decor Blog Hop!

Faith here!  Thanks Tiara for making me an administrator on your blog so I could help get this projects posted for you.  I'm hoping you'll be able to come back in and edit them so that everyone knows how you did it.  I also apologize for the size of the pictures.  I'm  uploading them as I got them from Facebook.

You should have arrived here from Lori's blog Swandog 4 Scraps.  Please be sure to check out my blog (remember this is Faith posting for Tiara) at start this hop from the beginning.  Some of us will feature a new project daily so in case you missed yesterday's projects, be sure to check those out too.  I also have several sponsors...details on how to win the goodies they've so generously donated are on my blog as well.

And now...here are Tiara's projects.

Your next step on this hop is Erin from Spantastikreations.  I hope this hop gives you lots of great ideas for how to spruce up your home!

  1. These are great projects. I haven't tried to etch yet but I may use my eCraft for my first efforts.

  8. I made the light switch with some brown cricut vinyl at about 2 inches. I wanted to paint the light switch so that it would stand out more but I have not chosen a new color for my living room.
The vase I also use vinyl and I used a Martha Stewart puch on it to create the tulips at the bottom. Sorry but I still cant post to my page. So I wanted to put the instructions here. Thank you everyone for waiting with me to get this up.

  15. Tiara--yea, your blog is working!
These are both lovely. Like Faith, I am partial to butterflies.
Anyway, they are both great ideas for "facelifting" something you already have. I have not yet tried the vinyl, but I am thinking about small bird silhouttes. (love the little birds)

Nice to be hosting with you.

  16. These are awesome projects! I especially like the vase because I have been wanting to try glass etching myself. I have some old fashion glasses that were given to me by a neighbor that I want to try to etch with my initial but I'm afraid I'll mess them up. Thanks for the inspiration and giving me the courage to try it.
