Congratulations

Hello all

This past weekend I created a few cards in my cricut workshop ( my living room) he he... that I wanted to share with you all. The card on this post is a card that I made for a coworker. She recently purchased her FIRST house. I am so happy and proud of and for her. She isn't going to have a house warming so I decided to make her a card to toot her horn. I will place a gift card on the inside before I give it to her.

I used the Disney Happily Ever after cartridge on my cricut.
I cut the yellow horn and flag at 5 1/2 '
I also cut the red flag at 5 1/2'
I used gold prong brads that I got from Stampin' Up
I stamped the inside with a Way 2 Go stamp from Stampin' up
I cut the CONGRATULATIONS in black from the Story book cartridge at 1'.
I used Martha Stewart feldspar glitter.

Stay tuned for the other cards that I made this past weekend.
I had a great time creating this card. Let me know what you think
Don't forget the upcoming Blog Hop next month. Great blog candy to come as well.

Thank you for coming ,

Layout insperation

Hello all!

I know its been a while since I have posted. The hectic life of a middle school teacher, time has gotten away from me. I have not been able to spend time crafting like I want. Today I thought that I would share a few layout pages I made. When I design I use the objects in the photos or the idea(s) around the photo to create the page. I hope you guys like it.

The book I used was a 6X9 ( I think... don't quote me on that LOL)
Mom, dad and baby makes 3!

I used foam stickers and clear stickers for each page.
This is the little one taking one of his first baths in the kitchen while he could still fit in the pot

 Tiger..... need I say more
This is his first swim lesson.
The book was created for years 0-1yr. I am currently working on years 1-2. Stay tuned for me colorful pages of inspiration. Most of the fonts and images were taken from the Graphically Speaking cart.

Thank you for taking the time! I love comments

Thank you,
 Tiara

A New Friend

Hello all,
I wanted to share some photos of a few cards that I made this weekend with a fellow talented crafter and blogger. Her name is Nicolette. She and her mom hosted a make and take session this past weekend. I got the chance to preview a few Stampin' Up product and meet a lot of great crafty ladies. I has such a great time that I wanted to share these cards with everyone and invite you to visit her blog. http://www.beyondscrapin.blogspot.com

If you don't know about Stampin' UP products feel free to check out their website. They have wonderful products. www.stampinup.com

These are the cutest, I used a stamp along with an Owl punch to create the images along with a few dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by leave a comment

Thank you,

Love Birds

This card is for all of the LOVE BIRDS  out there!! :) This card makes me think of a first love that you have as a kid on the playground. As a kid you think that life will never be the same without that first love. ( LOL)

The insde is a love bird stamp that I purchased at Michaels for the low, low price of $$$1!
I used the sweet treats cart to cut out the card shape and Child's first year to cut out the kids and  Amour cart for the cupid and arrow.  The kids are cut at 3 1/4 in and cupid at 2 1/2 inch. I have lots more cards to make thins week to bring smiles to the teachers that I work with so stay tuned and let me know what you think.

Love is in the air

Happy Tuesday!!
Yesterday was such a long day at work. Longer for others. I was a little down so I deceided to make a few cards to lift my spirits and make you all smile.

The first card is Ernie and rubber ducky. I thought that it would make the all of us smile and remind us of our childhoods and how simple life was before we became adults and had to start paying bills. (sorry for the not so good pictures but I left my camera at work)

I just think that this is a cute card.
I used the sesame street cartridge and eat item cut out at 3 1/4 inch. I also made some old school hearts by folding the paper and cutting them out. I used Marthat Stewart glitter to add a little shine!!!
I used a $1 stamp that I got at Michaels and some Stampin' Up markers to color the inside
Thank you for taking the time to stop by and leave a comment and tell me what you think!
